Cancer Survivorship Center offers patients hope

When Sharon Hart-Braun’s oncologist suggested that she seek support at The  Cancer Survivorship Center at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, Ill., she wasn’t interested. Diagnosed with both breast and ovarian cancer in a very short time, Sharon had no desire to go to a place where everyone would be sharing “woe is me” tales. When she finally decided to make a visit, Sharon was amazed at what she found.
