Healthy steps for young children
More than one in six U.S. children under 18 are estimated to have a developmental disability or mental health problem that may make them struggle academically or socially and possibly put them at risk for medical complications and behavior disorders. Advocate’s Healthy Steps for Young Children program works with parents and primary-care providers to identify risks or delays in infants, toddlers and young children to enable early intervention and the best possible health outcomes.
