Remembering the beloved Emily Beazley
At 8-years-old, Emily Beazley was diagnosed with stage III T-cell Lymphoblastic non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. After enduring years of treatment and a period of remission, Emily’s cancer returned. Emily passed away after a hard-fought journey on May 18, 2015. Here’s an early snapshot from her remarkable story.
The team at health enews reflects on Emily’s inspirational journey and sends our thoughts and prayers to the Beazley family and friends in this time of grieving. Her positive spirit and smile will always be remembered by the team at Advocate Children’s Hospital – Oak Lawn, who had the privilege of being a part of Emily’s journey.
Take a look at the photos when Emily was honored as a nurse for the day at Advocate Children’s Hospital in May 2015.
