Chicago Cubs welcome patients to Spring Training
An all-star team of nine Advocate Children’s Hospital current and former patients, ages 7-14, and their families, were gifted the experience of a lifetime with a visit to Cubs’ Spring Training in Mesa, Arizona this week.
Advocate Health Care, American Airlines and the Chicago Cubs organized the group’s all-expenses-paid trip, which included time stretching with Anthony Rizzo and Kris Bryant, a batting session with Kyle Hendricks and Pedro Strop and more behind-the-scenes experiences, including meet-and-greets, autographs and photo sessions with the World Series Champs!
