Santa in the hospital?
Just because a child is hospitalized during the holidays doesn’t mean they should miss out on talking to Santa! Santa Connection is a magical experience offered to patients at Advocate Children’s Hospital during Christmastime.
Mr. & Mrs. Claus video chatted with our patients from the North Pole to find out what they want for Christmas! The children lit up when Santa knew their name and told them they were on his “Nice” list. Santa’s elves even came to the hospital to help deliver early Christmas presents in person.
Other hospitals participated across the Advocate Aurora Health system – making this year’s Santa Connection our biggest event yet. Thank you to our Advocate TeleHealth Team, Advocate Aurora Health Informatics and Technology Team, Burwood Group, Cisco and child life specialists and volunteers at participating sites, for making Santa Connection possible. This is one holiday season our patients will never forget!
