Health care heroes: Keeping up morale
“Keeping morale up is something I always try to do during difficult times,” says Stacy Vetter, distribution supervisor at Aurora Medical Center in Manitowoc County, WI.
And during a pandemic is exactly when a morale boost is necessary.
“Recently, I created a ‘candy bar poem’ for each staff member,” Vetter says, “to show not only my appreciation for all their hard work, but a little chocolate treat is always enjoyable!”
Since taking on her current position in November of 2019, Vetter has taken on new challenges to help keep our team members staffed with the necessary supplies, ultimately keeping them safe and giving them what they need to treat patients. She works tireless hours, sometimes every day of the week, all to help our team members be prepared to effectively fight COVID-19.
