It really is enlightening, in a terrible way, how many people in our country are so uncaring about their neighbors or the future of their nation that they will not do the simple thing of covering their nose and mouth in public places.
Agreed.
People keep saying wearing masks is an infringement on their rights but I don’t see any difference between public masking and public smoking laws. I prefer to keep people safe. If that requires a mask…… not a huge thing to ask when you consider the possible alternative.
Masking is a way of showing respect for your fellow human beings just as the emphasis on respect for Black Lives, LGBTQ, people of First Nations, and other populations that we are striving for equity. The more we respect each other in these various ways, the stronger we will stand as a nation.
