I love the *idea* of having a delicious breakfast planned and I’ve tried this. But ngl this often prevents me from sleeping if I make something super tantalizing even if it’s healthy or healthyish like huevos rancheros or red velvet overnight oats I get excited and then I want to eat. It’s a double edged sword. I try to wash and preslice vegetables and even parboil things that will keep 3-5 days for frying and roasting so that I can make something awesome without the prepwork in 15 minutes or less. I also freeze freshly washed berries and things that freeze well like corn sliced off the cob and bell peppers because they taste better and fresher than whatever you get in the freezer aisle for some reason. This makes omelets, whole grain cobblers, crepes, bhudda bowls and smoothies easier during the week too.
