A boy asked his dad, “What’s an alcoholic?”
Dad: “Let me explain it this way: You see those 2 trees in our yard? An alcoholic would see 4 trees.”
Son: “Uh, Dad – there’s only 1 tree.”

Is alcoholic still the correct terminology? I thought the term “alcohol use disorder” is term being used now.
An alcoholic is someone who doesn’t drink and attends meetings.
All the rest are just drunks!!
