6.12.17 One year ago, a gunman killed 49 people at Pulse, a gay nightclub in Orlando. The tragedy marked the largest mass shooting in U.S. history. More than $30 million has been raised and donated to victims and survivors, and hundreds of businesses and organizations have signed up for a ‘Safe Place’ initiative committed to sheltering gay, lesbian or transgender people who are victims of hate crimes or feel threatened.
